“Bird Girls” an original pencil drawing by Terri Windling

Medium: pencil on paper
Size: 10 inches wide by 13 inches high

Artist’s note:
“In the last few years I’ve found myself creating paintings & drawings of and for children – featuring bunny girls, coyote boys, bird people, tree children, and assorted cactus fairies. A personal relationship with the natural world is important for all young people, no matter where they live: city, suburbia, or countryside. These little critters of mine are intended as guides to lead children into the magical world of nature, opening their eyes and ears to the stories in the land around them.”
