On Wednesday we were wonderfully entertained by two very talented writers. Laura Anne Gilman read a scene from Hard Magic, in which the protagonist is invited to a very strange job interview. And Mary Robinette Kowal read from Shades of Milk and Honey, after which she performed a brief shadowplay about a rude laborer and a determined, but not grudge-free, pedestrian.
