Range of Ghosts Elizabeth Bear was born on the same day as Frodo and Bilbo Baggins, but in a different year. She is a Hugo and Sturgeon Award winner, and her most recent novel is Range of Ghosts, an epic fantasy inspired by the history and cultures of Central Asia. She lives in a tiny town in Massachusetts with a giant ridiculous dog, but may frequently be found visiting Wisconsin, where she keeps her partner, the other guy reading tonight
Red Seas Under Red Skies Scott Lynch, whose current projects are the forthcoming The Republic of Thieves, third novel in the Gentleman Bastard sequence, and the ongoing Queen of the Iron Sands, a serial pulp adventure set on a hidden Mars in the early 1950s.
