Elizabeth Bear was born on the same day as Frodo and Bilbo Baggins, but in a different year. She is a Hugo and Sturgeon Award winner, and her most recent novel is Range of Ghosts, an epic fantasy inspired by the history and cultures of Central Asia. She lives in a tiny town in Massachusetts with a giant ridiculous dog, but may frequently be found visiting Wisconsin, where she keeps her partner, the other guy reading tonight |
