Tom Monteleone & Lawrence C. Connolly

Tom Monteleone & Lawrence C. Connolly

On Wednesday, we got to hear two talented authors perform their works for the audience. And perform is the opportune word. Lawrence Connolly led off with “Beneath, Between,” a story about a man who discovers a book that shouldn’t exist and goes on a quest to determine its origin. And he performed the entire piece fromĀ memory with no notes. Tom Monteleone read “Horn a Plenty,” about a Jazz pianistĀ and a cursed trumpet. Ellen’s photos of the evening can be found here.
